Recently, China GCE received letters of appreciation from CSSC SETH (Wuxi) Electric Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Haina Electrical Automation Systems Co., Ltd., recognizing its outstanding contribution to the N2303 electric propulsion vessel project. Both companies highly praised China GCE for its professional support and efficient service during commissioning.
The N2303 project, subcontracted by CSSC SETH to GCE, is a key program for a German shipowner, with vessels sailing primarily on European routes. The series includes four 3,800 DWT electric propulsion vessels. The first two (#1/#2) have been completed at Shanghai Huarun Dadong Shipyard, while the remaining two (#3/#4) are under construction at Nantong Yahua Shipyard.
The project features a full electric propulsion system, requiring high reliability in power distribution and frequency conversion equipment. Mr. Gao Wenqiang from China GCE played a vital role in the commissioning phase, providing precise technical support and reliable solutions for side thruster and static frequency converter operations. He also assisted Qingdao Haina and CSSC SETH in optimizing frequency converter performance and participated in the commissioning of the 500V switchboard, making significant contributions to the project’s success.
Both companies emphasized that China GCE not only demonstrated strong technical expertise but also a high sense of responsibility and teamwork. This dual recognition further highlights the company’s expertise in marine electrical systems and strengthens its reputation in the European shipping market.
